History
Future Human was founded by Jack Gwilym Roberts in 2010. Formerly the founding editor of the cult magazine Bad Idea (2006-2010), he wanted to create a new kind of editorial platform to share intel on the ideas, people and companies turning our world inside out, and also pose deeper questions about how innovation and technology changes what we do and, ultimately, who we are.

For several years, Future Human has hosted acclaimed salons in Shoreditch, London. Billed as a ‘a theatre of new ideas’, these sellout talk events regularly generate passionate conversation, column inches and ‘trending’ topics on Twitter. In 2014, Future Human debuted a new event called ‘Match’ at Google Campus in London – a social creativity game that invites players to ‘meet new people, change the world’, and have fun while solving shared problems.

Future Human also produces The Future Human Podcast, a popular broadcast on creative innovation that’s distributed via SoundCloud and iTunes, and recently teamed up with the V&A to launch ‘Visionaries’, a podcast devoted to futurological thinkers.
