Thanks to everyone who came down to Future Human: Body Hacking last night, as we delved into the biotechnological and pharmaceutical breakthroughs that are revolutionising healthcare, making it ever more personal and tailored to the individual. As ever, we’ll reflect on some of the discussion in our podcast series later in the year, so if you missed out you’ll get to explore some of the ground we covered.

If you want to learn more about our panel guests, Miguel Toribio-Mateas’s company Naturopatica is here, and QIAGEN, where Stephen Little is VP of Personalised Medicine, is here. Some of the fascinating startups we discussed with IPGroup’s Mark Warne are Oxford Nanopore (whose MinION is pictured above), Mode Diagnostics, Optimal Medicine, Activiomics, Capsant and Proximagen, all of them UK-based and developing medical technology that is set to change treatment forever (and hopefully give a shot in the arm to the UK economy).

Next month is XX Vision on October 17 – tickets are available on our shop page. Thanks again to everyone who came along and contributed!
